This decision will impact generations and may negatively impact a large portion of the state. The Great Basin is a delicate desert environment. I find it difficult to believe that Las Vegas can pump significant amounts of water from the aquifer without impacting the environment. It just doesn't make sense. Please reconsider this proposal and do everything to ensure that our precious resources are protected. Once the pumping starts and Las Vegas becomes dependent on the water, the pumping will never stop! The west desert will surely dry up and be lost forever. _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail® has ever-growing storage!
