**** 2022 **** Ag users must use 5 or gallon/minute nozzles and provide a
detailed map of how they` re watering. The users must notify the office when
they`re running and when they shut off. The water master checks 2-3 times a
week to make sure the rules are being followed.

nozzles and follow several other rules.

**** 2025 **** We do not have meters on the agricultural fields. However, we
do monitor them very closely. Users are required to use flow control nozzles,
call in when they start their turn and call in when they shut it off. A turn
is using all of the shares one time. Leaks have to be repaired within 24
hours. The formula we use to determine the number of gallons used is as
follows: 1n [nozzle] = 7,200g [gallons]; 7,200g X 6n per turn = 43,200g.

We use the meters in town to figure out how much was used. We don`t have a
meter directly out of the reservoir. We only run from April - October and
didn`t keep track of the readings until July 1st.

Our system generally runs April - October. No water is dispersed during the
off season.

Our season started about April 15th. We didn`t start reading meters until
June so people watered a lot more in April and May. We shut the system down
October 1st rather than the 15th because the reservoir was too low.

The above figures are based on residential use. Agricultural use was roughly
513,986,400. On years the well is run, the well feeds about 20% of the ag
users. 100% is from the reservoir when the well is not used.

The North Willow well ran from August 1st to October 8th. The calculations
are from both Grantsville Reservoir and the North Willow well.

We don`t run the well every year. When it does run, it`s only 3-4 months.
The previous Water Master, Jake, was let go and wasn`t monitoring either weir.

The well is run to supplement the system on dry years. When it does run,
it`s anywhere from 3-6 months. The well is not metered and feeds a small
portion of the system when running.

**** 2025 ****
We ran the well the entire season. We installed a meter last season but it
was not working correctly. The amount above is estimated. We have since
repaired the meter and will be taking monthly readings so the 2026 report
will be much more accurate.
