**** 2019 ****
The springs are commingled and the total flow into the water system is
measured through a single master meter.
Meter readings are manually recorded several times a week during the spring,
summer and fall months.
During the winter months [generally November - April] the meter is not
accessible because of snow, and monthly usage is estimated.
This meter measures the usage to 8 individual camp sites which include
pavilions, restrooms, showers and cooking stations.
Connections also include cabins and RV pads used by missionaries year
around.
Water use for January through May 2019 and mid-October through December 2019
was indoor use by missionaries that live on-site in cabins during the winter
who oversee and maintain the camp as well as recreational use on weekends by
visitors.
Without access to the meters water use was estimated at 400 gpd/cabin for
226 days and 20 gpd/pers for 68 days [34 weekends].
Bmellor The Springs (Group) consists of "Cove Spring #1 (WS001)", "Cove Spring
#2 (WS002)", "Cove Spring #3 (WS003)" and "Cove Spring #4 (WS004)".
**** 2020 ****
The camp was closed in 2020 except for a few missionaries that stayed and
maintained the camp.

**** 2021 ****
The amount of water used during 2021 is significantly less than used in
2020.
Camp staff reported that during 2020 there were 20 missionary couples [40
people] at the camp thoughout the summer performing various maintenance
activities even though the camp was shut down.
Staff also reported that there were winter campers using the camp in January
and February of 2020 - prior to the camp being shut down in response to the
Covid situation.
In 2021 the missionary maintenance staff was reduced to 6 couples and with
the camp shut down there were no winter campers in 2021.
The 70 % reduction of maintenance staff and the lack of winter campers
accounts for the reduction of water used during 2021 compared to 2020.
**** 2022 ****
Camp staff advised that due to COVID the camp was not in operation during
2021.
In 2022 regular girls camp activities were resumed and there were 2,500
girls at the camp each week during the camp season.
This explains the significant increase in water usage from 1.49 acre-ft in
2021 to 17.01 acre-ft in 2022
**** 2024 ****
During 2024 usage was running higher than normal and leakage was suspected.
During the year several significant leaks were located and repaired.
