Spanish Valley has not produced it's own water since 1980. Spanish Valley
ceased to be a seperate enity in the early 1980's and now is the distribution
branch of the Grand County W.C.D. (IDNO. 1046).
(1981) 1. Culinary water purchased from the Grand County W.C.D. and Spanish
Valley retails water to 525 customers. Spanish Valley does not
produce any water on their own at this time.

To make a long story short. Yes. The Grand Water & Sewer Service Agency was
formed in 1989 through interlocal agreement between:
Spanish Valley Water & Sewer Improvement District
Grand County Water Conservancy District and
Grand County Special Service Water District
We are all under one roof. The Agency performs almost every duty for all of
the districts.
I don t know how your files work but essentially there is only one report
and the Agency fills it out. To make things more complicated some of the
wells and our entire irrigation system are owned by the other two districts
listed above. So in reality the Agency just combines all the systems into
one reporting entity. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more
