Diligence Claim D-4 (WR 43-1954) was originally filed by the Daniel Irrigation Company
to divert water from Daniel’s Creek and Strawberry River for the irrigation of 1,825
acres, 800 livestock, and 25 families.  Daniel Irrigation Company deeded WR 43-1954 to
the Bureau of Reclamation.  Reclamation then segregated off 2533.65 acre-feet from WR 

43-1954 and gave it back to Daniel Irrigation Company (WR 55-9665).  The 2533.65
acre-feet of water in WR 55-9665 represents the portion of D-4 (WR 43-1954) which
originates in the Daniel’s Creek Drainage basin.  Since 2001, the Central Utah Water
Conservancy District has provided water to the Daniel Irrigation Company out of the
Jordanelle Reservoir.
