Per correspondence received from Ben Jensen on September 18, 2025 the total number of issued shares is 10,626 shares. The total volume of water moved out of the canal is 3,477.74 acre-feet. The total volume of water still in the canal is 5,408.26 acre-feet. The previous pages for South Kamas and New Washington Irrigation Companies have been marked as inactive.
The per share values for diversion, irrigation, and depletion are solely representative of B shares post-merger. In contrast, A shares, which remain used for irrigation within the company service area, are not represented by these values. A shares are also supplied with contract water from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Provo River Water Users Association, and Central Utah Water Conservancy District. However, because the Company does not own the water rights upon which these contracts are based, it may not authorize changes based on those contracts.
This page has been created to track share statements post merger of New Washington and South Kamas Irrigation Companies. This South Kamas company page will be marked as (Post Merger) while the old New Washington and South Kamas pages will be labeled (Inactive) so that the public can still access data on previous share statements made under the companies (Pre-merger).
