Parowan Valley Groundwater Management Plan

The State Engineer is working to develop a groundwater management plan in Parowan Valley. During this process, this web page will be used to share information with Parowan Valley water users. Here we will post information about the hydrology of Parowan Valley, the current water rights in the area, announcements of public meetings to be held, the material shared during previous public meetings, comments we receive from Parowan Valley water users, and other information. Groundwater management plans are created and regulated under Statute 73-5-15 of Utah state law.

Purpose:

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the development of a groundwater management plan for Parowan Valley. Personnel from the Division of Water Rights will be available to take all questions and comments provided by the general public and interested parties.
