They are two seperate sources. P-10 is the Skull valley drain only. **** 2008 **** P-10 Skull Valley Drain **** Did not operate in 2008
USMagnesium **** 2009 **** P-10 Skull Valley Drain **** **** 2009 **** P-10 Skull Valley Drain **** **** 2010 **** P-10 Skull Valley Drain **** **** 2011 **** P-10 Skull Valley Drain **** **** 2012 **** P-10 Skull Valley Drain **** did not operate pump in 2012 **** 2015 **** P-10 Skull Valley Drain **** **** 2016 **** P-10 Skull Valley Drain **** This water is seasonally available **** 2017 **** Water right 16-160 is also involved with the P-10 Skull Valley Drain System **** 2021 **** No pumping at P-10 in 2021. **** 2023 **** An urgent situation developed in early 2023 due to excessive runoff from Skull Valley. Natural runoff from Skull Valley had stacked up against USM`s perimeter solar pond dikes and threatened to cause erosion and infrastructure damage. In the past a solar pond bypass canal was in place to manage this runoff, but per State order this canal has since been closed. USM could not avoid pumping the Skull Valley runoff water into the solar ponds in order to prevent infrastructure damage. Per discussions with Gary Brimley, Regional Engineer-Weber River/Western Regional Office of UT Division of Water Rights, on February 10, 2023, USM was told to go ahead and pump runoff, as needed, to protect infrastructure and to report the additional runoff in this year`s report. Where USM has rights to 3,600 acre-feet [1,173 MM gallons], due to excessive flooding an additional 16,221 acre-feet [5,285 MM gallons] had to be pumped in order to prevent any damage to the solar ponds infrastructure.
