 **** 2020 **** Clarification for Population value under General System 
 Information...
We entered 79,594 for Year 2020 based on values from the City 
 Water Master Plan. 
 Layton City believes the population values provided by Div Water Rights in 
 the Water Use Surveys have been higher than actual during the last couple of 
 years. 
 Layton City is awaiting the updated 2020 Census value to confirm. However, 
 this census value will not be available until after this Survey is due. 
 Until then, the City prefers to utilize the population value for 2020 from 
 the Water Master Plan. 
 Also, we would like to understand how the values provided by DWRi in the 
 annual Water Use Surveys are generated each year. Please contact us if there 
 are questions or if you like to discuss further.
 
 **** 2022 **** In 2022, Layton City and Kays Creek Irrigation Company (KCIC) 
 signed an agreement to transfer the pressurized secondary water system from 
 Kays Creek Irrigation Company to Layton City. 
 The City now owns, operates, and maintains the former KCIC pressurized 
 secondary system beginning in 2022. 
 The ditch system and reservoirs are still operated and owned by KCIC. 
 **** 2023 **** In 2022, Layton City and Kays Creek Irrigation Company (KCIC) 
 signed an agreement to transfer the pressurized secondary water system from 
 Kays Creek Irrigation Company to Layton City. 
 The City owns, operates, and maintains the former KCIC pressurized secondary
