The company rights were established and certificated on the Wasatch Front. Many shares
have transferred to the Wasatch Back. 

Consequently, given the certain volume of water per share, the amount of acreage a share
may irrigate will vary according to the following information:

The duty for the Wasatch Front is 4 acre-feet per acre and the duty for the Wasatch Back
is 3 acre-feet per acre. Any shares used as a sole supply for irrigation on the Wasatch
Front would necessarily be limited to 1.5 acres (1.5 acre per share, x duty of 4
acre-feet per acre, = 6 acre-feet per share). Any shares used as a sole supply for
irrigation on the Wasatch Back would be allowed 2.0 acres (2.0 acre per share, x duty of
3 acre-feet per acre, = 6 acre-feet per share).
