Dale Satterthwaite talked with me to evaluate this company’s rights. Base water right 35-7233 (and supplemental rights 7234/7235) has a portion that was once used to irrigate lands now inundated by Pineview Reservoir. The Bureau of Reclamation presumably obtained the portion of the rights that was appurtenant to the condemned inundated lands. On the remainder, title has been updated into the Anderson Felt Winters Irrigation Company, which is an incorporated company; who issued shares to each person that deeded its water to the company. The total quantity of water (flow/volume) listed in 35-7233/7234/7235 includes some water that would belong to the Bureau of Reclamation. Thus, the total quantity of water listed in the line items next to the water right numbers would actually be more than the waters represented by the Company’s wholly owned portion of those rights, and I’ve written this comment just to clarify the discrepancy. In 35-7233/7234/7235, the company only owns 41.89 acres, representing 125.67 acre-feet, plus some livestock and domestic water (which isn’t evaluated here on the company’s page, because as I understand it the company pages are for only the irrigation portion of the right). But note again, the company solely owns the other rights listed (35-7165, 7251, 7389, 10659) and the total amount of water the company owns in those rights is correct as listed here. Note that 35-10659 was segregated from 35-7233/7234/7235 and stands separately. Its quantity of 11.31 acres is above and beyond the 41.89 acres owned by the company in 35-7233/7234/7235.
